Hardisty Mother's Day Card – Funny The Week the Women Went Joke, Alberta Small Town Mom Humour

Happy Mother's Day! You deserve a break. Although, if you're from Hardisty, you already know what happened the last time the women took one. 📺💐

This funny Hardisty Mother's Day card is a cheeky nod to *The Week the Women Went*, the reality television show that put this little Alberta town in the spotlight.

With a soft pink background, bold retro lettering, and an illustrated vintage television beside a packed suitcase, it's a little piece of local history wrapped up in a Mother's Day joke.

**The card reads:**

“HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY. LAST TIME HARDISTY GAVE THE WOMEN A BREAK, IT MADE NATIONAL TELEVISION.”

Because apparently giving the women of Hardisty a week off was interesting enough for the rest of Canada to watch.
